- Professional experience with and deep understanding of all aspects of cloud services/distributed systems development and maintenance
- Deep understanding of Container and Kubernetes internals
- K8s Operator experience
- Ability to build integrations and automations in a test environment
- Deep understanding of software engineering best practices from appropriate testing paradigms to effective peer code reviews and resilient architecture
- Deep experience with one or more programming languages such as Golang, C/C++, Python, Java
- Understanding of cloud-native technologies such as Containers and Kubernetes
- Interest in cybersecurity in general and in Container and Kubernetes security in particular
- Ability to take ownership and be accountable for deliverables, both individually and when leading a group of engineers
- Ability to communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a globally distributed team
- Experience in DevSecOps domain
- Prior experience building cybersecurity products
- Linux, Windows OS experience
- Ability to reverse-engineer software and APIs.

About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer or a Senior Software Engineer for our Cloud Runtime Protection (CRP) Deployment Engineering team. CRP is a key product area for CrowdStrike that is evolving rapidly and extends CrowdStrike’s rich endpoint protection to cloud workloads. The Deployment Engineering team is focused on frictionless deployment of this endpoint protection extending CrowdStrike’s mission of “stopping breaches” into the public cloud and cloud-native workloads with the ultimate goal of providing a single platform for securing the entire lifecycle of cloud workloads from development through deployment to run-time.
The Software Development Engineer will join the CRP Deployment Engineering team that is in charge of frictionless deployment of endpoint protection capabilities for protecting cloud workloads and infrastructure, and containers and Kubernetes in particular. This is a unique opportunity to join a team that works at the intersection of software development and cloud security and is responsible for delivering complex features spanning the entire security stack from agents and sensors to cloud services.
Experience level: 6+ years for the Sr. Engineer position; 3+ years for the Engineer position.
